The Celebs: George Chakiris, Michael Chiklis, Nicholas Gage and Marilu Henner.  Greek American singer Kalomira received the Elios Spotlight Award and television personality Maria Menounos was the Mistress of Ceremonies.  Others in attendance included former Governor Gray Daivs, former SF Mayor Willie Brown.

The Credentials: Over 700 people attended on November 7th at the Fairmont Hotel.  SRO, produced by Dick Bright, played as did the Greek sextet, Mediterranean Soul.

About the Elios Society: Founded in 1994 the Elios Society is comprised of 75 distinguished Greek-Americans from the San Francisco Bay Area.  The mission is to preserve and promote the spirit, values and ideals of Hellenic culture and heritage for the benefit of the Society’s general membership, Greek-American youth, and the general Greek-American community of Northern California, through a process of mutual enlightenment and fellowship.
