Charitable Event Volunteer Committee Sample Job Description

Providing volunteer committees a road map increases the success of an event.  That Road Map comes in a variety of ways; one of the most important is the job description.  A job description provides the volunteer a basis for their activities to achieve the goals set out for them.

The Event Chair should have a job description as should all sub-committee Chairs, if applicable.  Each volunteer, whether a Chair or not, who works on solicitation should also have a job description, even if a brief  version.

The following is a job description template that may be used for a variety of positions on the committee:
