Event Photo Recap – San Francisco: Zootopia Dinner

By Vivanista - February 17, 2010

The Celebration: The San Francisco Zoo Auxiliary’s Zootopia fundraiser

The Cause:  The San Francisco Zoo Auxiliary is a women’s organization committed to raising funds and awareness for the San Francisco Zoo and its education and conservation programs.

The Chairs: Event Chair – Alison Carlson; Public Relations Chair – Judy Holm; San Francisco Zoo Auxiliary President – Mindy Henderson

The Credentials: Upon entering the magical corridor of Spruce restaurant in Pacific Heights, guests passed a “DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS” display cage setting the stage for what would be a decadent evening of international wines and fine dining at one of San Francisco’s most illustrious establishments. While sipping signature cocktails and digging their stilettos into leopard print carpet brought in just for the occasion, SF Zoo Auxiliary enthusiasts mingled prior to being seated for a five-course dinner whereupon toasts were made and live guitar entertainment provided a jovial ambiance.

The Couture: Wildly fabulous Daru Kawalkowski stole the show in her signature leopard cocktail dress while juxtaposed above the leopard carpeting.
