We recently came across an inspiring letter from a Girl Scout by the name of Noelle Aguindaldo in Oceandside who had a more meaningful way of fundraising for her region instead of going door-to-door selling their annual cookie offering.

She has decided to sell boxes that will be sent to our troops overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, Japan, and Korea.

Here’s how you can support her cause:

What it Costs: $4 per box.

How it Works: Service men and women receive “a taste of home” and a note to show you care. Each sale gets counted towards Noelle’s cookie count and her council ships them overseas to the troops.

Send a Box: Make your check payable to Girl Scouts Troop 4219 and in the memo please write Noelle’s full name. Mail the check to 3625 Vista Oceana #35, Oceanside, CA 92057. You will receive a receipt for the tax deduction.
