The Credentials: It was case closed, or shall we say, multiple cases closed as vintners and international wine collectors united under a tent to celebrate a glorious decade of auctioning wine by the country’s top producers to benefit children in need. Before taking a seat for the afternoon’s bidding frenzy, enthusiasts perused auction packages and sampled savory delights prepared by Ritz-Carlton chefs while toasting the $82.6 million they have collectively raised since 2001.

The Coup: Sip, sip, hooray – $8 million
