Charitable Events, Event Recaps, Events 0 CommentsThe Celebration: 84th Annual Junior League of San Francisco Fashion Show Luncheon and Black Tie Gala
The Cause: The Junior League of San Francisco, Inc. - an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Chair: Courtney Bocci
The Credentials: The visionaries within the Special Productions team at Macy’s dazzled members and supporters of the JLSF who amassed at the Fairmont Hotel on Nob Hill thanks to their temporary transformation of a ballroom into a magical runway wonderland with a nod to a certain character named Alice. Festivities kicked off with a silent auction of myriad options ranging from spa packages to Ritz-Carlton getaways and wine magnums prior to the luncheon and dinner seatings. Members and a handful of their husbands and children sashayed down the runway upon conclusion of the live auction and guest designer Trina Turk took a bow following her colorful spring segment which opened the show. Across a black and white checkered dance floor, gala guests rocked the night away without forgetting to grab a killer swag bag brimming with goodies.
