Mission: The Society of Young Philanthropists is a platform designed to raise awareness, and promote charitable causes among young professionals through social events. SYP’s organization is to offer an attractive and appealing opportunity for young professionals to contribute their resources and skills to charitable causes.

SYP has been motivating young philanthropists since 2004 by collaborating with and fundraising for various non-profits, choosing a new beneficiary for each event. Statistically, SYP has raised over $250,000 for over 15 different organizations and causes, and has hosted over 3,000 young philanthropists at 10 different fundraising events and over 20 community service projects.

The goal of SYP is to offer an opportunity for young professionals to contribute their resources and skills to charitable causes. Through these efforts, the Society of Young Philanthropists hopes to instill a commitment to philanthropy in the next generation of community leaders. As a way to meet this goal, The Society of Young Professionals launched the SYP Dallas chapter as a way to meet philanthropic needs on an expanded national level.
