Who are we and what do we stand for?

Let us spell it out for you…

VIRTUAL REPOSITORY. We discovered an online void upon setting out to find a site created for women by women predicated on the best practices of volunteerism and fundraising. Consequently, Vivanista was born: a private, social networking site for inspirational women who have mastered or are seeking to master the art of philanthropy.

INSIGHT. Our goal is simple: create an invaluable, comprehensive platform where members can share and learn the A-B-C’s and 1-2-3’s of best practices in all things charity. Together we embrace the same vision: do everything in life to the best of your ability and teach others what you learned along the way.

VOLUNTEER. Together we have spent years giving back and donating our time. Now it is our time to share that wisdom with you and for you to share yours with us.

ALTRUISM. In every aspect of the Vivanista site, we hope to give back – this is our DNA. Whether we do so with our editorial or by donating a percentage of profits from our Marketplace, we will ensure that our members and community benefit in every possible way.

NETWORK. Perhaps you have a fellow Vivanista counterpart in Atlanta or Dallas who has chaired an event of interest and you want to follow in her footsteps. Now you can meet women the world over and socialize, virtually. From recipe-sharing to participating in club forums, our members can connect with one another on both personal and professional levels.

INSPIRATION. If there is one thing we hope to achieve within our members, this is it. Everyone is capable of inspiring greatness in others. We will select extraordinary members who inspire greatness and share their stories with you. Just as we were inspired to create this site, we hope to inspire you to give back with enthusiasm.

SOPHISTICATED. Okay, okay, we won’t lie…we are pretty fabulous. But we are only justified in our declaration because just as our credo states: we do good while living well and we look good doing good (now repeat that as fast as you can five times, tsk, tsk). In creating a beautiful site for beautiful women (inside and out) we hope to share our discerning taste with you (but we expect you to give fabulousness back).

TOUCHSTONE. We want Vivanista to be your benchmark and we aim to set the standard in all things lifestyle. The Lexus automotive team practices the “pursuit of perfection” and we hope to do the same in every aspect of our site. Just when you think we’ve set the bar as high as possible, we’ll move it up even more.
